Since 2019, we've been building something different - a platform where entrepreneurs don't just manage money, but actually understand it. Here's how we got to where we are today.
The Start of Something Real
Three frustrated business owners sat in a coffee shop in Bundaberg, drowning in spreadsheets that made no sense. We'd tried every budgeting app out there, but nothing spoke our language. Everything was either too basic for running a business or so complex you needed an accounting degree to figure it out.
That's when Callista Montrose decided enough was enough. She'd been running her consulting practice for five years and knew there had to be a better way. The idea was simple - what if budgeting software actually helped entrepreneurs make decisions instead of just tracking what happened yesterday?
Finding Our Voice
By 2022, word was spreading. Not through fancy marketing campaigns, but because people were actually using what we built. Small business owners were finally getting answers to questions like "Can I afford to hire someone?" and "What happens if that big client doesn't pay on time?"
We moved into our Kent Street office that year - nothing fancy, but it felt like home. More importantly, we started our educational workshops. Turns out, people didn't just want software; they wanted to understand the thinking behind good financial decisions.
What's Coming Next
We're not done yet. In fact, we're just getting started. This year, we're expanding our educational programs and building new tools that make financial planning feel less like homework and more like strategy. Because when entrepreneurs understand their numbers, they make better decisions - and better decisions change everything.
